This poetry collection is about the transition between two seasons – winter and spring. They relate to each other like children in school and experience shyness and empathy as well as competition and conflict. Winter feels bitter about her lack of success and for being portrayed as ‘bad’ and so decides to take her revenge on Spring. But can they become friends instead?

ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATOR

Liene Mackus (1984) has got her master's degree at the Art Academy of Latvia Department of Sculpture.
